Gambia: Health Ministry Reports Cases of Diarrhoea With Blood

The Ministry of Health has said that it has noted a recent increase in cases of diarrhea with blood in the country.

According to the ministry, "this can be a serious health concern and may indicate a bacterial or viral infection."

It therefore urged everyone to practice good hygiene, wash hands frequently and avoid consuming contaminated food and water.

It further advised the public to seek medical attention immediately if they or someone they know is experiencing diarrhea with blood.
