Nigeria: FG Signs 10-Year Pact With ACCI On Made-in-Nigeria Project

As part of efforts towards promoting and developing the national economy, the Made-in-Nigeria Project Office, under the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (OGSF), has signed an agreement with the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), which outlines a comprehensive strategy for the homegrown economic promotion and development programme, "Buy Made in Nigeria."

In a statement by the ACCI media and strategy officer, Olayemi John-Mensah on Wednesday, the signing ceremony marked the beginning of a fruitful 10-year partnership between the Made in Nigeria Project Office, OGSF and the ACCI.

Dr Aliyu Idi Hong, the second deputy president of the ACCI and the director- general, Mr Agabaidu Chukwuemeka Jideani led the ACCI delegation to the event, showcasing the chamber's commitment to driving economic growth through local production.

"The collaboration between the Made in Nigeria Project Office, OGSF and the ACCI is set to revolutionise the Nigerian economy by promoting and supporting locally made products. This strategic partnership aims to boost domestic production, create employment opportunities and enhance the overall competitiveness of Nigerian industries."
