Nigeria: Acci Commends Labour, FG On New Minimum Wage

The Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) has commended the efforts of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration and the labour leaders in establishing the N70,000 new national minimum wage.

In a statement, the President of ACCI, Chief Emeka Obegolu, said the agreement marked progress on the path to fairer wages and improved living standards for employees.

He said, "The collaborative spirit shown throughout this process is a testament to our leadership's commitment to the welfare of the Nigerian workforce."

He added that ACCI remained committed to supporting policies and initiatives that promoted sustainable economic growth and enhanced the business environment in Nigeria.
