Nigeria: Police Arrest 4 Suspected Cultists With Guns in Edo

Operatives of the Edo State Police Command have arrested four suspects for allegedly involving in cultism and being in possession of guns.

The suspects, Isioma Unwogo, (21), Godstime Imareigbe (32), Apeleokha Raymond (28) and Mutar Igie (30) were arrested at Ahor community along the Benin-Lagos bypass and Benin -Auchi road respectively.

The command's spokesperson, Chidi Nwabuzor, said the suspects were arrested during a stop and search exercise on the Benin-Lagos Ahor bypass road and the Benin-Auchi Road respectively.

He said Isioma was arrested by at Orio community with one cult-to-size and one live cartridge.

Chidi added that three other suspects Godstime Imareigbe, Apeleoka Raymond and Mutari Igie, were arrested during a stop and search on the Benin-Auchi Road.
