Nigeria: Abuja - Nwapdi to Hold Youth in Agriculture Convention

The Nigerian Women for Agricultural Progressive and Development Initiative, NWAPDI is set to hold a National Youth in Agriculture convention to create opportunities and encourage young Nigerians practising agriculture.

The National Coordinator of NWAPDI, Farmer Omolara Svensson, said the convention aimed at exposing the youth to the enormous opportunities in the agriculture sector.

According to her, the agriculture sector is the only sector in the country that guarantees sustainable income and it was time for Nigeria to build future leaders in the agricultural sector because the future is green.

The convention, which comes up on the 14th of August, 2024 is open to all youth from ages 16 to 35 and can be attended in person at the Merit House Abuja or through our webinar.
