Nigeria: Yobe APC Refutes Recall Rumour

13 August 2024

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Yobe State has dismissed alleged moves to recall some elected legislators from Zone B of the state.

The Vice Chairman of APC Zone B, Yobe State, Alh. Usman Arjali, while speaking to newsmen in Potiskum, said the zonal office of the party was not aware of such a move.

"There is nothing like this known to us except if it is from faceless persons", he said.

Arjali charged members of the party to shun rumours intended to cause disaffection in the party, urging them to continue to promote unity and progress of the party.

Rumours are rife that the electorates in Zone B were gearing up to initiate the recall of some state and federal legislators representing the zone.
