Nigeria: FCT - Waziri Hausawa Charges Lawyers to Shun Professional Misconduct

19 August 2024

Waziri Hausawa in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Kamba, has charged the lawyers, especially those ones handling his land cases in the FCT to shun professional misconduct.

Kamba, who gave the charge while speaking to newsmen in his office in Abuja, alleged that some of his lawyers who have been handling his lands cases connived with some people to cheat him, saying they would soon be exposed to the NBA.

He appealed to Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) to checkmate the activities of the legal luminaries on professional misconduct against their clients.

He also pleaded with Nigerian Judges as well as the lawyers not to delay cases in the courts unnecessarily for the sake of Nigerians.
