The African Development Bank will join agriculture leaders, policymakers, farmers, & innovators at the Africa Food Systems Summit (AFS), the world's premier forum for African agriculture & food systems in Kigali, Rwanda from 2-6 September 2024.

The Bank will host three side events: a high-level side panel discussion on post-Dakar 2, a session on Advancing the Food Systems for Africa through the Technologies for African Agricultural Transformation (TAAT) and the Vision for Adapted Crops and Soils, and an event on investing in fertilizers and soil health.

Bank participants will also be involved with various other panel sessions and bilateral meetings.

The Africa Food Systems Summit is an annual event that brings together investors, policy, agriculture and food systems experts to discuss and catalyze private sector investments and partnerships within the agricultural sector.
