Nigeria: Baba Fryo Accuses Nasboi of Intellectual Theft

Veteran Nigerian musician, Baba Fryo, has called out upcoming artiste, Nasboi, for allegedly stealing lyrics from his iconic hit, 'Denge Pose'.

Voicing his frustration in now viral video on social media, Baba Fryo demanded proper credit and compensation for his work.

This comes after Nasboi released his new track 'Short Skirt'.

Also Fryo warned Nasboi to reach out to him before he takes action.

Speaking in pidgin, he said, "Nigerians, I greet una. This thing don dey happen e don tey. And I was not happy with it. But now I want to take action.

"You see that song wey Naboi sings about 'short skirt'. My lyrics 'Dengo dey denge Denge' are inside the verse. So, anybody wey know Naboi should tell him to reach out to me before water go pass geri.

As you are looking at me, I'm not happy but this one must be the last time that anyone will use my song without telling me. You people should tell him to reach out to me before I take action."
