The Nelita pair almost had another go at the Head of House title after two consecutive wins, as they battled with their fellow housemates during last week's Head of House challenge. Unfortunately for them, the Shatoria (Shaun and Victoria) pair shattered their winning streak in a puzzle game and emerged Heads of House.
Following last Monday's nomination process, Aces, Radicals, DoubleKay and WannixHandi are up for possible eviction tonight. Big Brother had earlier invited the housemates into the diary room to nominate two pairs for possible eviction -- shortly after the HoH games. Radicals (Fairme and Mitchky) got the highest number of nominations, six in total; followed by Double Kay (Kassia and Kellyrae) and Aces (Sooj and Topher) who were nominated three times, while WannixHandi got two nominations. One or two of the nominated pairs will exit the house today at the live eviction show.
Though the house might be down to fewer pairs, the drama has only intensified and Ebuka's table-shaking antics last Sunday shed light on the complex dynamics between the housemates. The show host spotlighted Aces and Nelita's romance, Ozee's love triangle and Wanni and Shaun's situation.
The infamous spanking incident between Onyeka and Sooj is still causing ripples in the house. Onyeka has been keeping her distance from Sooj and in a conversation with Sooj, she cited her knowledge of how women think as the reason for giving him space. But Sooj isn't too keen on this new boundary, hinting that Onyeka shouldn't pull away completely. Recall that after Week 4 Saturday night gbedu, Onyeka asked Sooj to spank her and Sooj gave her buttocks a loud spanking. This was brought up by Ebuka and Sooj blamed it on intoxication, Onyeka on the other hand denied remembering the moment. The loud smack was caught on camera, but news of it surprised many housemates, including Onyeka's sister, Chizoba and Sooj's love interest, Nelly.
Despite Ebuka's mention of their age difference, Anita and Topher's romance seems to be heating up more than ever. After a sweaty morning workout, Anita found a comfortable spot up on Topher's lap, chatting about everything and nothing. Later, they took things up a notch in the HOH condo, where they snuggled under the duvet as Topher shared some wild tales of his past sex escapades. Either way, these two aren't letting anything or anyone cool down their connection.
But not everyone is on board with their love story. In another conversation, DoubleKay weighed in on the age difference, with Kassia firmly stating she could never be with a younger man. Kellyrae, on the other hand, shrugged it off, saying Topher's maturity is what counts and as long as they treat each other with respect, he sees no issue there.
Ebuka also asked Shaun if Wanni, his romantic partner in the house was merely his second choice. This came after questioning whether Shaun had chosen Wanni over Nelly because Nelly wasn't showing interest, since he doesn't chase. Shaun had emphasised that Wanni has always been his top choice, with no backup plan in sight.
"I am done," Wanni had declared, stating that Shaun no longer qualifies as an alpha male due to his handling of conflicts. Recall Shaun had earlier confronted Wanni, calling her high and violent during the latter's fallout with her twin, Handi. The trio have since reconciled.
Ozee and Onyeka also had a clash following Ebuka's 'table-shaking', and the former retreated to Victoria, who revealed how often she's been asked about her dynamic with him. Victoria was also visibly upset after Onyeka accused her of seeking attention from Ozee. She felt unfairly portrayed as a schoolgirl with a crush, denying any such intentions.
