Nigeria: NNPC Retail Station Sells N885 Per Litre in Enugu

The new pump price of petrol for NNPC retail station in Enugu state is N885 per liter.

When Vanguard visited the retail station at Agbani road and Ziks Avenue, there was a long queue that caused gridlock within the area.

It was gathered that some people bribed themselves in while those on queue are being left behind.

However, independent marketers are selling between N1000 and N1200 per liter.

Speaking to our correspondent, ones of the driver on queue, Mr Johnson Eze lamented the high cost of fuel, adding that the cost would affect the cost of living.

Eze said that he has been on the queue since yesterday and do not thing it will reach him today.
