Actress and content creator, Nneka Nkem recently shared her thoughts on the qualities she seeks in a life partner during an interview with Potpourri.

For her, financial stability is essential, but so are other key traits that reflect a person's character and values.

"Financial stability is important, but beyond that, I look for someone who is a good person through and through. Kindness, empathy, and intelligence are crucial. It's important to have someone who is mindful, clean, and has good hygiene. Even if they aren't very educated, education doesn't always equate to intelligence or being a good person. I value someone who is a strong support system in totality."

Nkem also touched on the impact of social media on relationships and how it often presents a false reality. "Most of what you see on social media is a smokescreen--about 98 percent of it. Social media is good, but it has also done a lot of harm. People need to separate social media from reality," she emphasized.

She urged parents to guide young women who may feel pressured by what they see online. "I appeal to parents raising young ladies to educate them about this pressure and teach them what is real and what is not. A lot of people think it's easy, but they don't know the full story."
