Vic Matt, whose full name is Victor Tobechukwu Okoli, is an executive producer who journeyed into film production from the business world like a few have done.

How did you find yourself working in the film industry?
It's just God because I never saw it coming. I was into music and always dreamt of being a music artiste, but I did not have the budget to push. So, the idea came that I should start content creation, and I had to quit my business, used my savings to buy an iPhone, and started making phone content for Facebook, and people started appreciating it.
Why did you choose producing films as a career path, and who inspired you?
As a result of the feedback gotten from facebook and YouTube, my friends always saidI would one day be a good producer, but I ust laughed about it. I only wanted to do content creation with my phone. So, for me, choosing this career path is just God.
I noticed I used unpopular faces as actors in my skits and I gained so much result which resulted in my buying cameras to make more skits, subsequently, I got an idea to use known faces to make longer videos and that was how I started making movies and it was working for me. Once again, I thank God for my friends. They played a major role.

What have been your best projects?
Unseen Treasure, Diamond in Trash, Forever and a Day and My Safe Place. These are projects that really touched people's lives. I love making impactful content. Our movies should always help shape society.
Your soundtracks, I must say, are catchy and unique. Can you say more about this?
Yes, a soundtrack for me is as important as the film because it also tells the story. So I make sure I use the best. I have an amazing team that I work with. One of who is ELI-J, an amazing music artiste, producer, and CEO of The Platform Studio. He is one of the best international music artists we have out there, and also other talented musicians to give life to our stories.
