22 September 2024

The forum of APC Non-Serving Senators has lauded first lady, Senator Remi Tinubu, on the occasion of her 64th birthday, noting that she has displayed unwavering commitment to national growth and development.

The 108-member forum made the commendation in a statement to celebrate Senator Tinubu on her birthday anniversary.

In a statement signed by its convener/protem chairman, Senator Basheer Lado, the forum said the first lady's work ethic is impeccable.

"Your journey from a distinguished senator to the esteemed first lady of Nigeria has been marked by unwavering dedication, integrity, and service to our nation. We remember you fondly as a colleague whose work ethic was impeccable. You consistently prioritized the greater good over personal or tribal interests, earning the respect of all who had the honour of working alongside you.

" Your legacy as a champion of women's rights and a passionate advocate for justice and equality continues to resonate. Both in the Senate and in your current role as first lady, you have remained a voice for the voiceless and an exemplary leader for all Nigerians," the forum said.
