Abuja — ...says: Many Nigerians are confused, seeking direction

The leader of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church, Centre for Deliverance Through Evangelism, Daki-biyu District, Kubwa, Abuja, Senior Pastor Alex Ogundipe, has prayed for divine intervention to end Nigeria's current hardships, inflation, and fuel price crisis.

During the church's 19th Annual Harvest Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, Pastor Ogundipe encouraged Nigerians to seek God in times of challenge, citing the Bible's promises of deliverance and salvation.

The prayer session focused on Nigeria's economic struggles, including inflation and rising fuel prices. Pastor Ogundipe emphasized the importance of faith and positivity in overcoming national challenges.

He reminded political leaders that their authority comes from God, urging them to align with divine purpose and prioritize the nation's well-being.

Additionally, the service promoted national unity, encouraging Nigerians to speak positively about the country and trust in its potential. Pastor Ogundipe noted that Nigeria's greatness lies in its people's positive mindset.

He said, "Many lives are in turmoil due to hardships, inflation, and fuel prices; people are confused about God and seeking help. They have ideas but don't know the true God. They are confused and seeking help everywhere.

"In Luke chapter four, Jesus Christ went to the synagogue and read, saying the Spirit of the Lord is upon him to proclaim good tidings, to tell people that only God can deliver, save, and improve their situations. That is the good news we must share.

"My message to the government is that leadership is ordained by God, as stated in Romans chapter 13. Nobody gains power without God's authority. Align with God's purpose and see Nigeria as a land of potential.

"If you speak positively about Nigeria, you will see its goodness. Your Nigeria is where you stand. If you declare negativity, you won't see its benefits. But positive words will show Nigeria's promise.

"Nigeria is a good land. If you believe and speak positively, you will reap its benefits. Many from other countries see Nigeria's blessings. We have fertile land where things grow easily."

Evang. Adesina Ajimati, chairman of the occasion, reaffirmed the importance of hope, urging Nigerians to keep faith alive and trust in God's plan for Nigeria's prosperity.

He said, "God can turn things around. Nigerians should keep hope alive. Nigeria will be great. As we celebrate Nigeria's independence and wish our leaders the best, we pray that God will guide them to do the right thing, and that their programs will bring positive changes to the land."

Pastor (Mrs.) Oluremi Olatudun expressed gratitude for God's blessings in Nigeria despite current challenges, trusting that God will help the nation overcome its hardships.

The event, which brought together religious leaders, promoted interfaith harmony and hope amid Nigeria's current challenges.
