Nigeria: Vanguard Christian Fellowship Celebrates 40th Anniversary, Thanksgiving

The Vanguard Media Christian Fellowship has announced that it will hold its 2024 end-of-year thanksgiving service in conjunction with the 40th anniversary of Vanguard Media Limited.

The event is scheduled for Wednesday, November 13, 2024, and will take place at Vanguard's corporate headquarters on Apapa Oshodi Expressway, opposite Berger Yard bus stop by UBA Junction, Kirikiri-Canal, Apapa, Lagos.

The fellowship's coordinator, Pastor Emmanuel Orisi, in a statement, said that the theme for this year's thanksgiving is 'Divine Restoration'.

Pastor Emmanuel said: "The programme will feature the Zonal Pastor of the Foursquare Gospel Church, in Edu, Ogun State, Rev. Joel Dunapo as the guest speaker. Reverend Dunapo is expected to deliver a message that resonates with the theme of divine restoration."

"The Thanksgiving event will commence at 11:00 a.m. and is open to all Vanguard staff members as well as the general public."

He, however, urged attendees to join in prayer and thanksgiving, not only for Vanguard Media but also for divine visitation and a positive turnaround in Nigeria.

This year's celebration marks both an end-of-year thanksgiving and a milestone anniversary, reflecting Vanguard's enduring commitment to journalistic excellence and spiritual growth.
