Success Egbekoba, an entrepreneur is attempting to break the Guinness world record for the longest marathon reading aloud by an individual for 250 hours.

Nigerian entrepreneur, Success Egbekoba has embarked on an ambitious quest to break the Guinness World Record for the longest marathon reading aloud by an individual.

The attempt, which began on December 29, 2024, aims to achieve an extraordinary 250 hours of continuous reading, a feat that would firmly place her name in the annals of world records.

It will be taking place at College of education, Warri, Delta State, on the 5th of January 2025.

The current record stands at 124 hours, set by Rysbai Isakov of Kyrgyzstan in 2022. Success's attempt more than doubles this benchmark, reflecting not only her determination but also her passion for promoting literacy and education in Nigeria.
