Nigeria: Ex-Minister Gwarzo Hails Tinubu Over 'Bold Decisions' to Reposition Nigeria

The immediate-past Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, Dr. Abdullahi Tijjani Gwarzo, has commended President Bola Tinubu for his 'bold leadership and necessary steps' to reposition Nigeria across every facet of life.

Gwarzo noted that from economic reforms to critical measures aimed at tackling security challenges, he has been deeply impressed by the courage and determination with which Tinubu has led Nigeria.

The former minister disclosed this in a New Year message contained in a press statement personally signed by him on Wednesday. He also saluted Nigerians for their sacrifices and resilience in supporting Tinubu's vision for greater Nigeria.

"I Extend My New Year Greetings to His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.

"As we step into the new year, I, Abdullahi Tijjani Gwarzo FTRAN, former Honourable Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, extend my heartfelt greetings to His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

"In this New Year, I want to commend the President for his bold leadership and the necessary steps he has taken to reposition Nigeria across every facet of life. From economic reforms to critical measures aimed at tackling our security challenges, I have been deeply impressed by the courage and determination with which he has led our great nation.

"I also want to acknowledge the immense sacrifices made by the Nigerian people, who, despite the challenges, have continued to show resilience and support for the President's vision for a greater Nigeria. It is through their collective efforts and unwavering commitment that we are seeing signs of progress and hope for a better future," he stated.

Gwarzo added that he remained confident that the President's tireless zeal and commitment will continue to bring lasting solutions to Nigeria's most pressing issues, particularly in the areas of security, economic revitalisation, and social welfare. "I eagerly anticipate a prosperous Nigeria in 2025, as we work together towards building a brighter and more unified nation," he further stated. "I wish President Tinubu continued strength, wisdom, and good health in the new year. May 2025 be a year of peace, prosperity, and unprecedented growth for Nigeria."
