Who: Development Partner Representatives, African Development Bank Group Senior Management

When: 31 May-1 June 2025

Where: Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire

The next ADF-17 replenishment meeting, to be held on the sidelines of the 2025 African Development Bank Group Annual Meetings, will bring together representatives of international development partners and senior leadership of the African Development Bank Group to advance discussions on the Fund's 17th replenishment.

This critical dialogue will help shape the future of concessional financing in Africa, unlocking greater resources for climate-resilient infrastructure, human capital development, and inclusive economic growth in the continent's most vulnerable countries. The replenishment discussions will also focus on regional operations, job creation, private sector development, and innovative financing mechanisms designed to meet the region's evolving challenges and ambitions.

As the Bank's concessional window, the African Development Fund plays a pivotal role in expanding opportunity, building resilience, and reducing fragility across 37 low-income African countries.
