The African Development Bank Group's Regional Integration Coordination Office will launch its inaugural Integrate Africa Magazine on 26 May during a high-level side event at the Bank Group's 2025 Annual Meetings in Abidjan.

This magazine showcases the African Development Bank Group's Integrate Africa pillar, highlighting transformative investments -- corridors, bridges, rail, digital infrastructure, energy, regional value chains, and gender-focused financing -- anchored in the Bank's Ten-Year Strategy (2024-2033).

Beyond coverage of the Bank's investments, the publication also aims to bridge knowledge gaps, inspire confidence, and showcase the Bank's role as a continental leader in driving regional development. It will also demonstrate the continent's progress and resilience.

The launch event, themed "Unveiling the Future: 10 Years of Connecting Africa," will feature cultural performances, fireside chats, and remarks from Bank leadership and partners, celebrating regional integration achievements and momentum. With over 3,000 Annual Meetings participants expected, including leaders from financial and development institutions, think tanks, NGOs, the private sector, and academia, the event aims to amplify the impact of integration across the continent.

The African Development Bank Group is Africa's premier multilateral development finance institution, committed to fostering economic growth and social progress. As part of its "High 5s" and Ten-Year Strategy, the Bank prioritizes regional integration as a driver of competitiveness, scale, and sustainable development.

The Regional Integration Coordination Office leads the Bank's integration agenda, advancing strategic alignment and knowledge products highlighting the Group's regional development investments.

The 2025 Annual Meetings of the Bank Group will run from 26-30 May in Abidjan under the theme: "Making Africa's Capital Work Better for Africa's Development" The highlight of this year's meeting will be the election of its president to succeed Dr. Akinwumi Adesina, who will conclude his two five-year terms in September.

About RDRI

Located within the Regional Development, Integration, and Business Delivery Complex (RDVP), and as the custodian of Integrate Africa, the Regional Integration Coordination Office (RDRI) helps to ensure strategic, programmatic, and operational coherence, as well as the efficient and transparent allocation of resources for regional operations and regional public goods.

The department supports high-level policy dialogue with the African Union Commission, the Regional Economic Communities, the Secretariat of the African Continental Free Trade Area, and related intergovernmental organizations to streamline cooperation mechanisms, drive investments, and promote reforms that accelerate the implementation of Agenda 2063, Integrate Africa, and the Africa Continental Free Trade Area. Internally, the department helps mainstream regional integration into the Bank's strategies and operations.
