In a spirit-filled ceremony marked by reflection and renewed vision, the Scripture Union of Liberia (SUOL), a non-profit Christian organization dedicated to Biblical teaching, officially inducted its new Executive Committee over the weekend.

Held at the Monrovia Christian Revival Church in Sinkor, the event brought together supporters, youth members, and church leaders to witness the formal transition of leadership. Rev. Jerome Williams, the newly elected Chairman, pledged to rebrand and revitalize SUOL's outreach programs.

"We're committed to expanding our reach, especially to children and youth across Liberia," Rev. Williams stated in a post-induction interview. "Our goal is to strengthen our presence, deepen Scripture engagement, and position SUOL as a vibrant voice of faith and guidance."

Rev. Williams further appealed to the Liberian government and humanitarian organizations for financial support to enhance SUOL's mission, citing the growing need for spiritual and moral empowerment in communities.

The ceremony also marked the end of an era for outgoing Chairman Roland Bouie, who's remarkable 43-year tenure shaped generations of young Christians.

Reflecting on his leadership, Bouie shared, "It has been a blessing to introduce young people to Jesus Christ. Through Scripture teaching, educational resources, and camp programs, we've nurtured faith in thousands of lives."

He expressed bittersweet emotions about stepping down, saying he would deeply miss the joy of engaging with students. Bouie encouraged the next generation to remain steadfast in their faith and passion for service.

The induction signals a new chapter for SUOL, as it builds on its legacy of Biblical engagement while embracing fresh leadership and vision for the future.
