Family, friends, and colleagues gathered in grief at the John F. Kennedy Memorial Medical Center (JFK), where his death was confirmed. His remains were later transferred to the hospital's morgue.

Tamba, a prominent youth advocate and respected civil society leader, had been battling health complications for several months and was seeking advanced treatment overseas. A GoFundMe campaign was recently launched by a close associate to raise funds for medical travel to India, but the effort was not realized before his passing.

The exact cause of death has not been officially disclosed, but sources close to the family confirmed he had been suffering from serious medical conditions over the past year.
