Nigeria: Enwere Calls for Collaboration to Boost S-East Devt

Abuja — The South East Renewed Hope Agenda (SERHA) has called for intensified collaboration between the South East region and the Federal Government to unlock development initiatives and secure President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's re-election in 2027.

This appeal was made during the inauguration of SERHA's Ebonyi State Chapter, which took place in Abakaliki on Saturday.

Speaking at the event, the National Coordinator of SERHA, Hon. Amb. Belusochukwu Enwere, described the inauguration as a 'special and historic occasion' aimed at strengthening the socio-political fabric of the South East within the broader vision of a 'better Nigeria.'

He emphasized the group's commitment to promoting good governance, quality service delivery, and the developmental strides of the Tinubu administration.

"Our mission is to continue to support, encourage, and promote the values of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's leadership in delivering quality governance

"The sound leadership and bold imprint of President Tinubu on the nation's development index have tremendously impacted Nigeria's socio-political landscape," Enwere stated.

He highlighted the recent establishment of the South East Development Commission (SEDC) as a significant milestone that presents new opportunities for Ndi-Igbo to benefit from federal initiatives.

Enwere urged stakeholders in the region to work together to unlock greater dividends for the South East.

The event, which attracted political stakeholders, community leaders, and youths from across Ebonyi State, also saw the inauguration of the state chapter's executives and members.

Enwere charged the new leadership to embark on massive grassroots mobilisation to secure President Tinubu's re-election in 2027.

"The task ahead is enormous. You are hereby empowered to spread the gospel of this administration to all and sundry," he declared.

He commended the vision and political will of stakeholders present and encouraged the newly inaugurated executives to become 'good ambassadors of positive change.'
