The stillness of his resolutions on contentious national economic and security issues stands with his patriotic disposition and tolerance spirit that makes him to be misunderstood and often taken for granted by pundits and critics .

Administering governance is a process and particularly for one that must follow laid down principles in line with avowed respect for rule of law and human rights to which Tinubu have paid true allegiance .

In his commitment to the declaration of state of emergency on food security and his resolve on foreign direct investment , FDI , with special focus on agriculture , President Tinubu has attained yet another mile stone in the development of the Agricultural industries by attracting Brazilian investors to develop the country's livestock and Agriculture .

Presently in far away Brazil which is hosting the ( BRICCS) summit , he has secured the cooperation of the Brazilian government to partner with Nigeria government in the development of the Nation's agriculture .

Brazil is among the notable countries with advanced technology in agriculture and large scale food production .

The partnership agreement reached by Nigeria and Brazil will include :

* To Fast-track food production .

*To Partner with Brazil's top research institutions

*To Boost exports, jobs & food security .

This is a commendable land mark achievement by President Bola Tiinubu .

Any country aspiring for honour in the committee of nations must achieve self reliance in agriculture and food production. For Nigeria to attain food security our agricultural sector must be given top priority in a secured environment which is a key factor for the sector to thrive .

On the challenges of insecurity to National food security and what it portends to farmers , One can confidently state that attention is being given to security of lives , properties and our rural areas where majority of the Agricultural activities takes place

Problems posed by the bandits , Bokoharam , farmers , herders squabbles and foreign terrorist invaders to the lives of the farmers , their farms , and the agricultural sector of the economy are being mitigated on by the government .

It is a common knowledge that no nation of the world exists without it's peculiar security challenges and Nigeria is not left out such bitter experiences . Nation's deal with security threats everyday , it is an unavoidable criminal menace in every society . And the President is leaving no stone unturned in tackling the myriads of security problems in Benue state , plateau , Kaduna , Borno , Zamfara , Sokoto States which are predominantly agriculture hubs for food production .

Nigeria's agriculture policy and program under this administration is a visible transformative agenda aimed reducing hardship and cost of living . Under the Renewed Hope Agriculture Mechanization program President Bola Tiinubu commissioned , 50 bulldozers , 12 fully equipped mobile workshop , 8000 farming equipment and 2000 tractors to be distributed nationwide farmers for enhanced food production and National food security .

This initiative with its accompanying training program will not only stimulate and boost agriculture activities in the rural areas , it will also create employment for our youths , curb youth restiveness and speed up economic growth and food sustainability .

Undoubtedly it is a step in compliance with President Bola Tiinubu's policy on food security that led to the declaration of state of emergency on food security in the month of July 13, 2023 , with a presidential directive for urgent and innovative solutions .

To ensure the successful implementation of President Tinubu's directives, the ministry of Agriculture have set up four key initiatives for mechanisation policy that includes , the John Deere Tractorisation Programme , the Greener Hope Project , the Green Imperative Programme, and the newly launched 2000 tractors procured from Belarus.

President Bola Tiinubu deserve hilarious accolades for the breakthrough that will practically revolutionize our Agricultural sector . Critics should know where and when to draw the line between Politics , Governance and National development more so when it evident that the president is concerned with dealing with the challenges Nigerians are going through .

The measures and efforts he is putting in place to boost Agriculture productivity inorder to ease the hardship on the masses through sufficient food supplies at reduced cost of food items will make way for affordable food items to Nigerians .

The President's Agricultural policies pave the way for most Nigerians to become self employed if they take advantage of the opportunities created in the sector . Frankly, it is an enormous privilege to benefit from and become empowered through agricultural productivities .

A country that is unable to guarantee her food security is poor and vulnerable .

As a people let us be patient and be supportive of the President . Beyond political party affiliation politicians should rally behind president Bola Tiinubu to deliver on his mandate to Nigerians and reposition the Nation on the part of economic recovery , growth and food security .

The South East Stakeholders should key into the president's Agricultural revolution mission and opportunities for the overall interest of the region .

Continuous and concerted efforts should be made to render support to the Chairman of progressive Governors Forum Senator Hope Uzodinma to keep mobilizing the region and Nigerians for the reelection of President Bola Ahmed Tiinubu . That will guarantee continuity in governance and the sustenance of the administrations loudable objectives .

Former Minister of State Science and Technology and Present Chairman Governing Council , Federal Polytechnic Nekede , Imo State .
