Nigeria: Union Bank Records 24 Percent Promotion Rate After 10 Years

Union Bank of Nigeria Plc has recorded its highest promotion rate of 24 per cent in the last 10 years.

This was announced in a statement following the bank's conclusions of its annual staff assessment and performance evaluation exercise.

"This milestone reflects Union Bank's enduring commitment to recognising and rewarding excellence, nurturing talent, and fostering a high-performance culture.

"Promotions were awarded across various departments to employees who consistently demonstrated outstanding achievement, integrity and dedication to the bank's values and growth objectives," the statement reads.

The bank's CEO and Managing Director Yetunde Oni, described the concluded results as bank's commitment to the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and accountability.
