Nigeria: Katsina CP Tasks 589 Promoted Officers On Professionalism

The Commissioner of Police, Katsina Command, Mr. Bello Shehu, has decorated 589 newly promoted officers with their new ranks.

The CP, who decorated the officers on Monday in Katsina, recognized their dedication and service to the Nigeria Police Force and the country in general. He urged the newly promoted officers to sustain a high sense of professionalism in discharging their constitutional duties and to rededicate themselves to the service of humanity.

Among the officers, three were decorated with the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), while the remaining officers were promoted from Sergeant to Inspector, and from Corporal to Sergeant. (NAN)

The CP expressed his appreciation to IGP Kayode Egbetokun and the Police Service Commission (PSC) for finding the officers worthy of promotion.

Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, ACP Abdullahi Muhammad-Dattijo, of the Department of Finance and Administration (DFA), also extended appreciation to the IGP and PSC for their magnanimity. (NAN)
