Nigeria: Developer Launches Housing Scheme in FCT

6 August 2025

Real estate development firm, MyAbujaHome Limited, has launched a premium residential project in Nigeria's Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

The Nathania Heights, located in Gwagwalada, Abuja, is part of the company's broader strategy to tap into Nigeria's growing demand for affordable housing schemes.

Speaking on the development, the company's Managing Director, Adebola Mogaji, revealed that the project offers a mix of well-appointed two- and three-bedroom apartments, strategically situated just three minutes from the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital.

Describing the project as a fusion of "contemporary sophistication, structural efficiency, and serene living," Mogaji noted that The Nathania Heights is competitively priced for the high-end Abuja housing market.

"These units aren't just homes--they are strategic real estate assets designed for discerning buyers and investors looking to tap into Abuja's expanding property value," Mogaji said.

This initiative aligns with the growing trend of flexible real estate financing, which developers say is essential for addressing Nigeria's housing deficit.

The development will feature amenities such as 24/7 security, complete CCTV surveillance, constant water supply, and ample parking space, designed to appeal to professionals, families, and institutional buyers.

According to him, Gwagwalada has historically been a quiet suburb, but its proximity to major institutions and recent infrastructure improvements have rapidly transformed it into a real estate hotspot.

Nathania Heights is situated in Phase 3, Gwagwalada, and a location Mogaji described as "poised for exponential growth."

"This is more than a housing project--it is a strategic move into a fast-appreciating market. We're offering more than a home; we're offering legacy, lifestyle, and long-term value," he added.

MyAbujaHome's latest initiative comes amid growing investor interest in Nigeria's mid-tier to luxury residential segment, driven by increasing urban migration and an expanding middle class.

MyAbujaHome is betting that aspirational living--combined with flexible payment plans and a strategic location--will set a new benchmark for luxury housing outside Abuja's traditional highbrow districts.
