The African Development Bank will host the sixth edition of the Africa Resilience Forum (ARF) from 1 to 3 October 2025 in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, under the theme:

"Prioritising Prevention: Financing Peace in a Changing Development Cooperation Landscape."

This high-level forum will bring together policymakers and practitioners from across the humanitarian-development-peace nexus, including government officials, private sector leaders, civil society actors, and academic experts.

Participants will explore how to scale up prevention efforts and increase peace-positive investments across Africa.

Key discussion themes will include:

  • Private sector engagement
  • Youth economic resilience
  • Food security
  • Climate resilience and financing
  • Natural resource management
  • Digitalisation and technology
  • Regional integration.

The forum will be held in person at the NOOM Hotel and livestreamed to ensure broad access and participation.
