The speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Abubakar Sulaiman, has donated relief materials worth N3.25 million to victims of a recent fire outbreak in Warji local government area.

Presenting the items on behalf of the speaker, his special adviser, Isa Haruna, expressed the speaker's deep concern for the welfare of citizens, including those outside his Ningi constituency.

He explained that after assessing the victims' immediate needs, the state's chief lawmaker decided to provide essential food and household items to cushion the losses suffered.

According to him, the intervention demonstrates the legislator's compassion and commitment to supporting people across diverse faiths and ethnic groups in the state.

The relief materials donated include 30 bags of rice, 30 cartons of spaghetti, 10 gallons of cooking oil, 10 bags of sugar, 30 mats, 60 thick blankets and 70 sets of children's clothes, among others.

The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the speaker, noting that the support came at a critical time. They prayed for Allah to elevate the speaker and grant success to his future endeavours.
