Maxitrust Microfinance Bank Ltd, one of Nigeria's innovation-driven micro lenders, has launched a flagship funding package - MAXI-WASH - in demonstration of its commitment to health, dignity, and sustainable living in the country.

Speaking during the launch of a grassroots-oriented product in Port Harcourt, developed in partnership with Water.org and the National Association of Microfinance Banks (NAMB), the managing director of the MfB, Idris Mohammed Abdullahi, explained that the product's launch marked a significant milestone in MFB's journey toward inclusive finance with social impact.

He clarified: "MAXI-WASH is more than a loan product: it is a commitment to health, dignity, and sustainable living. Through this product, we are empowering households, schools, markets, and communities to access clean water, build modern toilets, water storage systems, hand-washing facilities and improve hygiene standards in line with Sustainable Development Goal 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation).
