The African Development Bank's Gender, Women and Civil Society Department (AHGC) will host the first webinar in a new series on gender and macroeconomics: "From Policy to Practice: Advancing Gender-Responsive Macroeconomics in Africa."

The event will bring together leading experts from academia, international organizations, and civil society to exchange insights and advance action on gender-responsive macroeconomics.

Discussions will explore how integrating gender into economic policy can make growth more inclusive and sustainable across African economies.

About the Gender and Macroeconomics Series

This new AHGC initiative aims to foster dialogue, build evidence, and promote innovative policy approaches that integrate gender equality into macroeconomic decision-making on the continent.
