Nigeria: Gwagwalada Chairmanship Candidate Presents Agenda to Students

11 November 2025

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chairmanship candidate for Gwagwalada Area Council of the FCT, Comrade Kasim Mohammed Ikwa, has presented his seven-point agenda to the students' union of the council.

Ikwa, who received the executives of the students' union at the party's secretariat on Friday in Gwagwalada, said his administration would ensure that indigent students studying in various tertiary institutions are given scholarships annually to encourage their educational careers.

He said the scholarship scheme was part of his agenda and urged the union to critically examine his manifesto before taking a decision on the election.

He, however, reminded the students that the council deserves a leader that will serve all, irrespective of ethnic, tribal, religious, or political affiliations.
