Lagos business leaders gathered on Thursday, December 11, for an evening of social exchange and reflection at the inaugural Q5 Party, held at Queens Park, Oniru. The event brought together more than 350 chief executives, senior executives, founders and their teams, offering a shared space to mark the close of the business year in a relaxed setting.

Organised by Events Architects Ltd, led by Chief Visionary Officer Funmi Victor-Okigbo, the gathering was framed around the idea of "Q5," a symbolic pause after the fourth quarter, intended for rest, reflection and preparation for the year ahead. Rather than a conventional end-of-year celebration, the evening focused on connection and acknowledgement, without the pressures typically associated with corporate festivities.

A notable highlight of the night saw CEOs in attendance stand for a collective toast, recognising both the challenges navigated during the year and the opportunities anticipated in the months to come. The gesture set a reflective tone that carried through the evening.

Guests were treated to a curated programme that blended live entertainment with a multi-course dining experience and a range of drinks, creating an atmosphere that encouraged informal conversations and interaction across organisations.
