Nigeria: Lagos Business Leaders Gather for Inaugural Q5 Party

16 December 2025

Lagos business leaders gathered on Thursday, December 11, for an evening of social exchange and reflection at the inaugural Q5 Party, held at Queens Park, Oniru. The event brought together more than 350 chief executives, senior executives, founders and their teams, offering a shared space to mark the close of the business year in a relaxed setting.

Organised by Events Architects Ltd, led by Chief Visionary Officer Funmi Victor-Okigbo, the gathering was framed around the idea of "Q5," a symbolic pause after the fourth quarter, intended for rest, reflection and preparation for the year ahead. Rather than a conventional end-of-year celebration, the evening focused on connection and acknowledgement, without the pressures typically associated with corporate festivities.

A notable highlight of the night saw CEOs in attendance stand for a collective toast, recognising both the challenges navigated during the year and the opportunities anticipated in the months to come. The gesture set a reflective tone that carried through the evening.

Guests were treated to a curated programme that blended live entertainment with a multi-course dining experience and a range of drinks, creating an atmosphere that encouraged informal conversations and interaction across organisations. Interactive segments, light surprises and prize moments punctuated the evening before it transitioned into an after-party that extended late into the night.

Among those present were Kennedy Ekezie of Kippa, Great Nwakaibeya of GTI Rides, Kemi Okoya of Privado Luxury, Segun Okubanjo of Obsidian, Buchi Ajufo of Credential Communications, Atim Ukoh of Afrolems, Dare Herald of Kokopelli Africa, Eromosele Adene of ABENOL Foundation Ltd/GTE, Bola Balogun of Glam Brand Agency, Adaeze Okoye of Perfectly Planned Productions, Titi Fashola of Spazio Ideale, Ada Armstrong of StartupHR Africa, Jide Sipe of the Bank of Industry, and Levi Adewunmi of Bridges Entertainment, alongside teams from SoMe Solutions and other organisations.

Participants represented companies of varying sizes and sectors, united by an interest in growth, workplace culture and shared progress. The evening's black glamour dress code added a consistent visual tone, complementing the understated elegance of the venue.

With its successful debut, the event has announced itself as a leading inter-company end-of-year celebration, a dignified space where leaders honour their teams, acknowledge collective victories and usher in the holiday season with confidence, poise and a sense of earned renewal.
