Nigeria: Commissioner Lauds Police, Partners for Peaceful Festive Season in Imo

The commissioner of police, Imo State Command, Aboki Danjuma, has commended the dedication and professionalism of the police personnel and other security agencies during the festive season operations across the state.

In a statement made available to newsmen by the police public relations officer, Henry Okoye, he said the joint efforts of the police, sister agencies and stakeholders ensured a peaceful festive season. The CP also thanked Imolites for their cooperation, emphasising that effective policing relies on community partnership and respect for the law and citizens' rights.

As the state transitions into 2026, CP Aboki Danjuma encouraged residents to continue supporting security agencies through the provision of timely and credible information, while reaffirming the command's dedication to proactive policing, the protection of lives and property, and the upholding of lawful conduct.

According to him, the Imo State Police Command remained committed to strengthening its operational strategies in order to maintain public safety and security across the state.
