The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has warned its members and prospective supporters to disregard fake online registration platforms and links circulating under the guise of official party registration.

In a statement issued on Sunday, the party's National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, said the ADC has not opened any official online membership registration platform.

He stressed that all links currently circulating online and on social media claiming to be ADC registration portals are fraudulent and should be completely ignored.

"At the moment, there is no official ADC registration link or website open. All links currently circulating should be completely disregarded," Abdullahi said.

The party cautioned members and supporters against clicking on suspicious or unverified links or sharing unconfirmed registration messages, noting that official communication would only be made through verified ADC channels at the appropriate time.

Abdullahi further stated that the party is currently working on its official membership registration and verification platform, which will be formally launched and announced through authorized party platforms.

He warned that the ADC would never request payments or sensitive personal information through unofficial channels, including WhatsApp messages, direct messages, or third-party websites.

"Members and supporters are advised not to submit personal information such as names, phone numbers, Permanent Voter's Card details, Bank Verification Numbers, or payment information to any unverified platform," he said.

The party also urged supporters to report any suspicious links or platforms through its official communication channels, assuring that all legitimate announcements, including the launch of the official membership registration platform, would only be communicated through verified ADC platforms and formal statements from the party leadership.
