Nigeria: National Assignment Beckons On Kwankwaso, Says Idahosa

15 January 2026

Bishop Isaac Idahosa, the running mate to Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso in the 2023 presidential election, has said that national assignment is beckoning on him.

The archbishop-designate endorsed the leadership style of the NNPP leader, describing him as a trustworthy leader committed to the welfare of the people of Kano State and tNigeria.

In a statement he issued yesterday, Idahosa said, "Kwankwaso is a national icon who has consistently demonstrated commitment to the downtrodden.

"He's a trustworthy leader who always stood with the marginalised masses, and I believe he's one of those who can lead Nigeria forward," he said.

Idahosa called on NNPP members nationwide to rally behind Kwankwaso, saying, "National assignment beckons on Kwankwaso. He has paid his dues to the masses and a great announcement will soon follow as a reward."

He urged party members to support Kwankwaso's leadership, citing his vision for Nigeria's future.
