Nigeria: Rose Six Clear As He Chases 13th PGA Tour Win

2 February 2026

England's Justin Rose moved into a commanding position to claim a 13th PGA Tour title after stretching his lead to six shots at the Farmers Insurance Open on Saturday.

The 45-year-old followed his earlier rounds with a four-under-par 68 on Torrey Pines' demanding South Course, posting seven birdies to reach 21 under.

Rose has led since the opening round and now holds the event's biggest 54-hole advantage since Tiger Woods in 2008.

American Joel Dahmen sits second. Rose, runner-up at the 2025 Masters, last won on tour at the FedEx St Jude Championship in August.
