The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), in partnership with YougRich Heritage Nigeria Limited, has completed a one-month intensive training programme in welding and fabrication for 30 youths in Delta State.
The programme provided participants with practical and theoretical knowledge aimed at improving their employability and technical competence in the welding and fabrication sector.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, the Chief Executive Officer of YougRich Heritage Nig. Ltd, Agbanashi Young, expressed appreciation to NCDMB for entrusting his organisation with the training.
"We are honoured to partner with NCDMB on this initiative, and we are proud of the progress made by the participants," Young said.

"We urge the board to sustain such programmes, as they will go a long way in empowering Nigerian youths and promoting self-reliance," he added.
Young also commended President Bola Tinubu for his continued support for NCDMB and its youth development initiatives.
"We are grateful to Mr. President for his unwavering support to NCDMB and its efforts to develop the skills of Nigerian youths," he said.
Participants at the programme also commended the organisers, citing the comprehensive curriculum and commitment of the facilitators. They expressed appreciation to NCDMB and YougRich Heritage Nig. Ltd for providing them with the opportunity to acquire valuable technical skills.
The training covered key areas including safety procedures, equipment handling, as well as project design and execution, equipping participants with the skills required to either secure employment or establish businesses within the sector.
The initiative underscored NCDMB's ongoing efforts to promote youth capacity development and economic self-reliance.
