Nigeria: Church Gets N200m, Other Benefits From Adamawa Philanthropist

The Lutheran Church of Christ in Nigeria (LCCN) has received a donation of N200 million from a top philanthropist, Dr Emmanuel Musa.

The church is also to enjoy other benefits from the philanthropist, including 200 employment opportunities for pastors' children or dependants; 200 scholarships for pastors' children or other dependants, to study in their desired universities within Nigeria from 100 level to final year.

There is also 200 free UTME (JAMB) registrations as well as 10 hand-pump boreholes to be constructed across the various dioceses of the church.

Musa who is the president of Emnamu Foundation, his charity platform, announced the gestures at the 2026 Annual Convention of the LCCN holding at the its Convention Ground in Demsa, Adamawa State.

Represented by Hon. Yohana Audu Yoyyo alongside his Chief of Staff, Comrade Chakukuyada Godwin Kala'a, Emmanuel Musa commended the leader of the LCCN, the Archbishop, His Grace, Most Rev. Panti Filibus Musa, for his outstanding leadership, vision, and foresight in advancing the mission and unity of the Church.

The Church leadership and congregation offered heartfelt prayers for God's protection, wisdom, and continued blessings upon Emmanuel Musa.

Archbishop Musa Panti, appreciating Emmanuel Musa for his intervention, said it reflects his unwavering dedication to empowering people and improving community welfare.
