Gambia: Moys Patronizes Brikama Sports Committee With Floodlights Worth D385,000

Ministry of Youth and Sports (MoYS) has patronised Brikama Sports Committee with seven (7) floodlights worth three hundred and eighty-five thousand dalasi (D385,000).

The floodlights will be installed at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony, Minister of Youth and Sports, Bakary Y. Badjie, reaffirmed government's commitment to youth sports development in The Gambia.

"Brikama football deserves the best facilities.

The floodlights would allow the youth to showcase their talents safely and proudly," Minister Badjie said.

Acting Executive Director of National Sports Council (NYC), Mahmoud Lamin Jawla, applauded the initiative.

Jawla highlighted the importance of investing in sports as a tool for youth empowerment.
