Nigerian X User Stuns Internet With ₦32 Million Payout From Elon Musk

29 March 2026

A Nigerian content creator, Oyindamola, has become the talk of social media after revealing a massive ₦32 million payment from the social platform X (formerly Twitter).

The user, known as @dammiedammie35, shared the news on Saturday, sparking a wave of excitement among other creators looking to monetise their accounts. According to Oyindamola, his account had been restricted since last year, which usually prevents users from earning ad revenue.

Despite the setback, he revealed that he kept posting and appealing the platform's decision until the restriction was finally lifted.

"Our oga here (Elon Musk) paused me since last year, but I didn't worry too much. I appealed a few times and just continued doing my thing," he wrote in his viral post. "Today, I got this... Thank you, Elon."

The news has served as a wake-up call for many Nigerian social media users, proving that staying active and persistent on the platform can lead to life-changing earnings.
