Electoral District #4 Representative, Rep. Ernest Manseah, has officially broken ground for the construction of a bridge linking the communities of Gbor-Gbanwain and Gbor-Payee.

According to the lawmaker, residents of District #4, particularly those in the Gbor region, have been advocating for the bridge's construction since 1980.

He therefore urged citizens of both Gbor-Gbanwain and Gbor-Payee to cooperate with engineers and take collective ownership of the development project to ensure its success and sustainability.

Rep. Manseah further assured residents that development initiatives currently underway within the Tuah River belt will also be extended to the Gbor region. He disclosed that following the elections, eight scholarships were awarded to students for studies abroad, with beneficiaries selected equally from the various chiefdoms within the district.

The announcement and groundbreaking ceremony met with widespread appreciation from residents across the district.

Speaking on behalf of the community, the Commissioner of the Gbor region praised Rep. Manseah for what he described as tangible development initiatives aimed at transforming the lives of local citizens.

He noted that since 1980, successive leaders had promised to construct the bridge but failed to deliver, making the current project a historic milestone for the people.

The Commissioner then offered prayers and heartfelt appreciation to Rep. Manseah, publicly honoring him for advancing infrastructure development across District #4 and expressing optimism that the bridge will open a new chapter of connectivity, economic growth, and opportunity for future generations.
