Nigeria: 'Can't You See the Pattern?' - Priscilla Ojo Defends Mother, Iyabo Ojo, Amid Premiere Controversies

Priscilla Ojo, daughter of Nollywood star Iyabo Ojo, has broken her silence following the wave of controversies that trailed the premiere of her mother's latest film, "The Return of Arinzo".

The star-studded event, held on Sunday, March 29, was overshadowed by viral social media reports of snubs and internal friction among several high-profile actors. Reacting to the fallout, Priscilla took to Instagram to suggest that the drama was part of a deliberate attempt to distract from her mother's professional milestone.

"Always misunderstood, always blamed, even when she's not the one in the mix," Priscilla wrote.

"Since Arinzo's announcement, can't you see the pattern? A lot of drama back-to-back just for one aim: to ruin her plans. But God is stronger than man, and this movie will sell!"

The influencer expressed frustration that her mother is often criticised regardless of her actions. She noted that when Iyabo Ojo remains silent, the narrative is twisted, and when she speaks the truth, she faces backlash. Priscilla further pointed out that while her mother is known for fighting the battles of others in the industry, she is often left to stand alone when facing her own challenges .
