Nigeria: Katsina - Kanti Bello Loyalists Relaunch Network

Leaders and loyalists of the political movement founded by the late Senator Mahmud Kanti Bello have begun a fresh push to revive and reposition the once-dominant grassroots structure in Katsina State.

The renewed drive was unveiled during a strategic meeting held at the residence of the late senator, convened by his son and current leader of the group, Engr. Mustapha Kanti Bello.

The gathering brought together coordinators from across the state's 34 local government areas alongside prominent figures of the All Progressives Congress (APC), signaling a coordinated effort to restore the network's influence ahead of future political contests.

Addressing participants, Mustapha Kanti Bello stated that the initiative seeks to rebuild the formidable political structure established by his father, which once commanded significant grassroots support across the state.

He emphasized that the core values of integrity, service, and loyalty that defined the late senator's leadership remain relevant, urging members to recommit themselves to those ideals.

"Our task is to revive this structure and sustain the legacy he left behind. Leadership must be inclusive and responsive to the needs of the people," he stated.
