Nigeria: APC Inaugurates Kuje Council Executives

The national secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has inaugurated the new executive members of the party's Kuje Area Council chapter.

The inauguration, which took place in Kuje, was presided over by the Secretary of the National Secretariat Committee, Barrister Ikem Chuka.

He administered the oath of office to the executives in a ceremony attended by representatives of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and various security agencies.

The new local government executives, who emerged through a consensus process, include Adamu Danladi Ibrahim: Chairman, Danlami Musa: Vice Chairman, Ismaila Suleiman Gokuje: Secretary, Noma Awwal Bawa: Assistant Secretary, Sikiru Adebayo: Organizing Secretary and Joseph Yunusa: Assistant Organizing Secretary

Other inaugurated officials include Abdullahi Rakiya (Women Leader), Halima Sadiq (Assistant Women Leader), Jibrin Mohammed Gani (Youth Leader), Habila Tika (Assistant Youth Leader), Musa Bala Sule (Legal Adviser), Ayuba Aruwa (Assistant Legal Adviser), Danlami Samu (Treasurer), Hosea Azaki (Assistant Treasurer), and 13 others.

The Kuje Chairman-elect, Samuel Danjuma Shekwolo, commended the new executives and emphasized the need for them to live up to expectations while discharging their duties.

He warned that the party would not hesitate to remove any official who fails to perform at the required level.

Speaking on behalf of the newly inaugurated team, the Kuje Chapter Chairman, Adamu Danladi Ibrahim, expressed appreciation to the party leaders and other stakeholders for finding them worthy to pilot the affairs of the party for the next four years.
