The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, has called for greater unity among party leaders in Bauchi State, commending efforts to reinforce grassroots mobilisation ahead of future elections.
Yilwatda gave the charge during the handover of 24 buses donated by Dr. Bala Maijama'a Wunti to APC structures across the state. The vehicles, distributed to local government chairmen, zonal coordinators, and the state secretariat, are aimed at improving outreach and strengthening party operations at the grassroots level.
The APC chairman described the donation as both strategic and timely, noting that it reflects strong loyalty to the party and alignment with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda. He added that such initiatives demonstrate a clear understanding of grassroots politics and the importance of building strong local structures.
Represented at the event by the National Vice Chairman (Northeast), Barrister Idris Shuaibu, Yilwatda urged party stakeholders to remain united, assuring them of fairness and inclusiveness as preparations gradually begin for upcoming electoral contests.
