Nigeria: APC Chieftain Hails Ezugwu's Political Grassroots Impact

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Enugu State and House of Representatives hopeful, Prince-Henry Hart Ucheonwu, has congratulated the Chairman of Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area, Chijioke Joseph Ezugwu, on his emergence as a recipient of the 2026 Vanguard Personality of the Year Award.

Ucheonwu, in a congratulatory message made available to journalists in Lagos, described the honour conferred by Vanguard Media Limited as a well-deserved recognition of Ezugwu's contributions to grassroots development and human empowerment.

He commended the council chairman's leadership, particularly in advancing youth empowerment, strengthening security, and improving the standard of living for Uzo-Uwani residents.

Ucheonwu also praised the synergy between Ezugwu and the Enugu State Governor, Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, noting that their collaboration has driven progress in security, infrastructure, and overall development across the state.

According to him, the Vanguard award reflects growing recognition of Ezugwu's performance in public service.
