Nigeria: Seun Kuti Vows Never to Settle Feud With Wizkid

Afrobeat singer Seun Kuti has declared that his rift with music star Wizkid is permanent, stating that the two will never reconcile.

The disagreement between the two artistes began after Wizkid reportedly made comments comparing himself to the late Afrobeat legend, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti. Seun, who is Fela's youngest son, had earlier warned fans to stop comparing the Essence singer to his father.

Speaking in a recent podcast, Seun Kuti made it clear that he has no plans to end the beef because he felt Wizkid disrespected his late father's memory.

"It is on for life. I don't have anything to say about him, but it is on for life. You don't say things about my dad, and then it is fine. There is no coming back from that," Kuti stated.

The singer noted that while he has nothing new to say about Wizkid, the insult to his father is a line that cannot be crossed.
