Brethren, to the glory of God we have just gone past the first half of the fifth month of the year.
Many of us want to be enlarged. Such enlargement may be in the size of the family, business, stature or even status.
It simply means we want to be bigger than what we are now.
For many of us, unless God helps us, we are unable to help ourselves either because of obstacles placed on our path in life by fellow human beings or unseen spiritual forces.

It takes the revelation of God for one to come to the realization that the hindrance to one's greatness may not be physical. Or if physical, it could have a spiritual root.
When one is enlarged he moves from the point of stagnation to a point of visibility. People would see that something has changed. It is a state of moving from fruitless efforts to overflowing harvest.
Brethren, we are discussing enlargement in the sense of a supernatural expansion.
Isaiah 54 vs. 1-3( KJV) says: "Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD.
Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations, spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes;
For thou shall break forth on the right hand and on the left, and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited"
You want to ask, how can a person held down with a challenge sing? Why should a married woman who hasn't been pregnant for a day, enlarge her room, why should she make room for children that are not forthcoming.?
That may be a right feeling but there is a power that gives inner strength, a supernatural power that works in you that is able to cause the enlargement you desire.
But that is if you are a born-again Christian.
So how do I make the power in me to cause an enlargement in my life?
The first condition is to be satisfied with what you consider little that the LORD has done for you. Then go ahead and express gratitude.
A Yoruba proverb says, " the one that is grateful for the good deeds of yesterday, would receive more '. In other words, such a person would not remain stagnant. Such a person will surely enlarge to the envy of others.
What would give you the strength to sing in a stagnant position, is your vision of what is to come.
Keep dreaming, keep visualizing your stage of enlargement. Beloved, what you see in your spiritual mind is what you would get physically.
However, those dreams may never be realized if you do not build your inner capacity.
Hear what the Psalmist wrote in 71 verse 20-21 " Thou, which hast shewed me great and sore troubles, shall quicken me again, and shall bring up again from the depths of the earth,
Thou shalt increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side".
Even in any form of distress we need to be confident that God can turn things around and give eternal joy.
We need to develop our spiritual capacity with prayers. Prayer is essential for you to detach yourself from whatever constitutes a limitation to your life.
Beloved, we need to pray, pray and pray again. We don't need to be tired of having a discussion with God.
The Holy Bible presents us with an example in the life of King Uzziah.
2nd Chronicles 26 vs 4 &5: " And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father Amaziah did.
And he sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God: and as long as he sought the LORD, God made him to prosper".
When you prosper people will see your enlargement.
The question is are you seeking the LORD?
How much time do you use to seek the face of the Lord? These are questions that you need to answer.
The Holy Bible tells us in Proverbs 8 vs. 17: " I love them that love me: and those that seek me early shall find me".
Beloved, you need the supernatural power from above to enlarge your coast.
If you are not contented or grateful for what the LORD has done for you now, do not expect God's enlargement.
Refuse to tolerate or adopt an attitude of " I am coping".
A man of God, Rev. Sunday Awe, President of Christ Proclaimers' Global Mission once said, " anything you tolerate would dominate you".
Brethren, the desire to be free, the desire to enlarge must come from you and then the Lord would bless that desire.
Isaac the promised child faced challenges when his men dug wells for water, found water but the men of Gerar struggled and claimed it from him.
This happened to him twice but he didn't give up. He dug the third.
Genesis 26 vs. 22: " And he removed from thence, and digged another well; and for that they strove not: and he called the name of it Rehoboth; and he said, For now the LORD hath made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land".
Let's see what happened next in verse 24" And the LORD appeared unto him the same night, and said, I am the God of Abraham thy father; fear not, for I am with thee, and will bless thee, and multiply thy seed for my servant Abraham's sake".

Rather than murmur, persist in prayer and the worship of the Lord and watch God visit you.
When the Lord visits, you will move from tears of sorrow and pains to tears of laughter and joy.
Genesis 21 vs.1 &2: "And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as he as spoken.
For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him".
Beloved, calm down. Prayer is within your power but the power to bring the results of your prayer to manifestation is the exclusive preserve of the Almighty God.
Since you didn't create yourself, you do not have the capacity to enlarge your coast . Even when you attribute your success to your efforts, it is because the Lord blessed your efforts.
No matter how troubled you are, do not murmur, pray, fast and worship the Lord committing all into his hand.
May the Holy Spirit give you the inner strength to pray over any unpleasant situation in your life in the name of Jesus .
Continue to trust in God, the only one that can reverse the irreversible.
Jesus is LORD!
