On 10 June 2026, the African Development Institute (ECAD) of the African Development Bank Group will host a virtual session titled "Who Benefits from Africa's Data? Turning Data Governance into Value, Skills, and Growth," as part of its Leading-Edge Insights (LEI) Series.

This session will examine how African countries can harness the growing volumes of data generated through digital public services, financial systems, climate monitoring and infrastructure investments, to create economic and development value.

The session will feature practical insights, real-world case studies, and discussion of the skills required by policymakers, regulators, and public institutions across Africa.
